Kyobo Securities Hosts 2023 KIF Knowledge Forum

The forum consisted of three sessions in total: ▲G2 (Great Powers) Issues ▲Market Outlook and Investment Strategies ▲Major Industry Outlook, with experts in each field participating. The Kyobo Securities Intelligence Forum was planned to convey major upcoming economic issues and investment strategies to Kyobo Financial Group's management and investment professionals. This forum was held on the 11th.
The first session, G2 STEP, featured invited lectures sharing key points to watch regarding the US and China next year. Professor Ahn Byung-jin of Kyung Hee University's Future Civilization Institute presented on the topic "What is the Next Step for the United States?" discussing the future political and economic policies of the Biden administration.
Following this, Jeon Byung-seo, director of the China Economy and Finance Research Institute, gave a lecture titled "China Exposed to Low Growth Risks, Will There Be Changes in 2023?" addressing the risks the Chinese economy will face.
The second session, 'Back Step,' covered next year's investment environment and outlooks for domestic and international stock and bond markets, as well as investment strategies, presented by Kim Hyung-ryeol, head of Kyobo Securities Research Center, among others. They shared various risks in the real economy and financial markets and proposed optimal asset allocation plans reflecting the macro environment and major asset outlooks for next year.
The third session, 'Side Step,' featured presentations by research analysts responsible for major industries such as finance, construction, secondary batteries, and bio. The session conveyed outlooks on finance and real estate, the vision of K-Battery as the second semiconductor, and bio growth strategies.
Center head Kim said, "It was a meaningful occasion to exchange diverse knowledge amid rapidly changing domestic and international investment environments," adding, "We will hold the Intelligence Forum annually to strengthen the expertise of Kyobo Group's investment personnel and establish it as an event for communication with customers."
