BNK Gyeongnam Bank Co-hosts the '2022 Gyeongnam IP Startup Festival'

View original image[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Song Jong-gu] BNK Gyeongnam Bank held the ‘2022 Gyeongnam IP Startup Festival’ on the 10th in collaboration with the Gyeongnam Intellectual Property Center, Gyeongnam Creative Economy Innovation Center, Gyeongnam Venture Investment, and Changwon Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
The Gyeongnam IP (Intellectual Property) Startup Festival was organized to discover startups in the Gyeongnam region and contribute to spreading the startup boom and creating jobs in the area through mentoring by successful senior businesspeople.
The Gyeongnam IP Startup Festival, held at the Changwon Grand Mercure Ambassador Hotel, was attended by Bank President Choi Hong-young, Changwon Chamber of Commerce and Industry Chairman Koo Ja-cheon, Gyeongnam Creative Economy Innovation Center Director Lee Dong-hyung, Gyeongnam Venture Investment CEO Jo Guk-hyung, as well as representatives and executives of the awarded startups.
President Choi presented the BNK Gyeongnam Bank President’s Award and a prize of 5 million KRW to CEO Choi Im-cheol of Roamed, who was selected for the Excellence Award at the ‘2022 Gyeongnam Startup IR (Investment Promotion) Competition’.
BNK Gyeongnam Bank supported the event with the BNK Gyeongnam Bank President’s Award, prize money, and a sponsorship fund of 20 million KRW to ensure the smooth operation of the 2022 Gyeongnam IP Startup Festival.
President Choi said, “The first-ever 2022 Gyeongnam IP Startup Festival is expected to open new paths for the Gyeongnam regional economy and give hope to local startups. BNK Gyeongnam Bank will continue to actively support many startups in the region to successfully advance.”
