Securing 1,000 Packs of MyHeart Inventory
[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Chun-han] SSG.com announced on the 10th that it has secured 1,000 packs of the unique fruit Red Shine Muscat ‘My Heart’ for a limited season sale until the 13th. Through the online-exclusive logistics center ‘Neo,’ the product will be sold mainly in the metropolitan area, where about 50% of the national population is concentrated.
The Red Shine Muscat is a new variety created by crossbreeding the green grape Shine Muscat and the red grape Wink variety. The fruit resembles a red heart in shape, hence the name My Heart. It is characterized by a high sweetness level of 17 to 18 Brix or more, along with flavors reminiscent of plum, grape, apple, and various other fruits.
The grape berries are relatively large, weighing between 13 and 20 grams each, boasting a substantial weight, and are seedless for convenient eating. If ripened at room temperature for about a day after purchase, it can be enjoyed sweeter and softer. It is a seasonal fruit available for about one month a year and can be enjoyed until the end of November.
