DL Construction Appoints Vice President Gwak Su-yoon as New CEO
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Min-young] Kwak Soo-yoon (54), Vice President, has been appointed as the new CEO of DL Construction.
According to DL Construction on the 9th, CEO Kwak graduated from Seoul National University with a degree in Architecture and joined Daelim Industrial (now DL E&C) in 1992. He has held positions such as Head of the Architectural Technology Team, Executive Director in charge of Estimation, Technology, and Architectural Business, Executive Director in charge of Housing Planning, CEO and Executive Director of Korea Development (now DL Construction), and Executive Director of the Management Innovation Headquarters at Daelim Construction.
Last November, he moved to DL Construction and worked as Executive Director of the Housing Architecture Business Headquarters before being appointed as CEO and Vice President this time. Even during his tenure at DL Construction after the merger, he served as head of the headquarters, covering both support and business divisions, and is evaluated internally as having proven his management capabilities across various fields through diverse experiences in overall company operations.
