Gwangju Bank Selected 70th Branch of 'Hope Blossoms Study Room'
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Jin-hyung] Gwangju Bank recently held a ceremony to select the 70th branch of the "Hope Blossoms Study Room" at Gwangju Aeyukwon, the bank announced on the 8th.
Gwangju Aeyukwon, selected as the 70th branch of the "Hope Blossoms Study Room," is a child care facility that helps local children grow into healthy members of society. It houses 51 children who are unable to receive family protection due to reasons such as family breakdown.
Song Jong-wook, President of Gwangju Bank, and employees of the Gwangju Bank Community Love Volunteer Group improved the outdated learning environment at Gwangju Aeyukwon by replacing desks, chairs, and air conditioners to create a comfortable study environment.
They also spent tea time with the children in the newly renovated library of Gwangju Aeyukwon, delivering messages supporting the children's dreams.
