View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Sunmi Park] Samsung Electronics announced on the 7th that it has opened "SmartThings X heyy, Seongsu," a space where individuals can experience the personalized life solution "SmartThings," in collaboration with proptech (property + technology) company Trustay, located in Seongsu-dong, Seoul, and will operate it until the 27th of this month.
Heyy is a brand of shared housing introduced by Trustay, offering a residential space that presents a harmonious balance of life and rest. "SmartThings X heyy, Seongsu" is set up at "Understand Avenue," a landmark and complex cultural space in Seongsu-dong, and proposes a shared housing-based lifestyle tailored to the tastes of MZ consumers through Samsung Electronics' SmartThings.
In the kitchen space, a lifestyle utilizing Bespoke refrigerators, wine refrigerators, and Bespoke Cookers is suggested. In the busy daily routine of commuting, the 'Scan Cook' function of the Bespoke Cooker allows for delicious and convenient preparation of meal kits, enabling proper meals. Using SmartThings' 'Sommelier at Home' feature, users can easily find desired wines in the Bespoke wine refrigerator and even receive menu recommendations that pair well with the wine. Additionally, recommended menus can be cooked with the Bespoke Cooker to enjoy wine gatherings with co-residents.
In the laundry space, there are Bespoke Grande AI washing machines and dryers, Bespoke Air Dressers, and Bespoke Shoe Dressers, providing customized clothing and shoe care through SmartThings to satisfy residents with different preferences.
In the living room space, the voice control function of SmartThings allows users to easily and quickly create the desired atmosphere. After a busy day, when returning home and activating the 'Honey Sleep Mode' in the bedroom, the lights automatically turn off, the air purifier Bespoke Cube Air switches to wind-free mode, and the Bespoke Wind-Free Air Conditioner changes to body temperature wind, creating an environment conducive to deep sleep.
When wanting to spend special time with members of the shared housing in the living room, 'Party Mode' can be set, where colorful lighting turns on with welcome music, and The Freestyle projects neon screens, instantly creating an exciting home party atmosphere.
Various events will be held during the operation period of the experience space. Every Saturday, a social gathering called "Seongsu Winery" is held. A sommelier introduces popular wines, and participants can taste wine pairing menus recommended by SmartThings together.
