View original image[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Hwang Duyul] Dongmyung University signed an MOU on the 2nd to jointly operate the cooperative body UNICORN (UNIversity-Cooperation-Organization Network) and to promote program sharing and collaborative activities.
The cooperative body aims to connect startup infrastructures in the metropolitan, Jeolla, and Yeongnam regions, with participation from Keimyung University, Dongmyung University, Dongshin University, Jeonbuk National University, Chung-Ang University, and the Korea Youth Entrepreneurship Foundation.
The main activities of UNICORN include regular networking activities, community-linked innovation activities, joint development of employment and startup education courses, sharing of core infrastructure, and establishing and operating a system to expand achievements to regional universities.
The cooperative body plans to actively utilize the UNICORN X platform to disseminate and benchmark achievements.
Each university promised to continuously propose programs and provide support to enhance the UNICORN brand value and strengthen its identity.
Students from the cooperative universities will participate in On氣Scool (On-gi School), organized by the UNICORN cooperative body, from the 11th to the 13th to identify regional issues and propose solutions.
