DB Financial Investment, Overseas Stock CFD Launch Commemorative Fee Discount
[Asia Economy Reporter Myung-hwan Lee] DB Financial Investment announced on the 4th that it will hold an event offering a 0.1% discount on online commission fees for overseas stock CFD trading until the end of this year to commemorate the launch of its overseas stock Contract for Difference (CFD) trading service.
During the event period, any customer holding a DB Financial Investment CFD account can enjoy commission fee benefits for overseas stock CFD trading through the Home Trading System (HTS) and Mobile Trading System (MTS) without any separate application.
In the DB Financial Investment CFD dedicated account, customers can trade both domestic and overseas stocks within a single account. DB Financial Investment explained that it provides services for regular trading hours on U.S. exchanges as well as pre-market and after-market trading, offering greater convenience for customers compared to other companies.
The biggest feature of overseas stock CFDs is that short selling and leveraged investment of overseas stocks are possible. Compared to the 22% capital gains tax borne by investors in direct investment, a lower 11% tax on derivative capital gains applies. CFD dividend income is not included in the comprehensive financial income tax.
