According to Yeongam County on the 3rd, a fire caused by a wood-fired boiler occurred at a house in Yeongam-eup at 8:04 PM the previous day.
There were no casualties in this fire, but one house was completely destroyed, resulting in property damage.
Mayor Woo Seung-hee visited the site on the day of the incident, confirmed the fire extinguishing efforts, then visited the temporary residences to express sympathy and consolation to the affected residents and promised support for their recovery.
