[Asia Economy Reporter Kwon Jae-hee] Posco Chemical is continuing its strong performance with a 7% increase in the afternoon session following news of its full-scale investment in next-generation anode materials business.
As of 2:17 PM on the 3rd in the KOSPI market, Posco Chemical is trading at 212,000 KRW, up 7.07% compared to the previous trading day. During the session, the price rose to 213,500 KRW, setting a new 52-week high.

Posco Chemical is the only company in Korea that produces both cathode and anode materials, the four core battery materials. Its current annual anode production capacity is 82,000 tons, with plans to expand to 320,000 tons by 2030.
