[Asia Economy (Pyeongtaek) = Reporter Lee Young-gyu] The Pyeongtaek Port Authority in Gyeonggi Province is providing 32 million KRW in export logistics costs to 16 small and medium-sized export companies through the 'Global Jump-up Support Project.'
The Pyeongtaek Port Authority announced on the 3rd that following the support of 68 million KRW to 30 small and medium-sized export companies in August, it will additionally provide 32 million KRW in export logistics costs to 16 companies in early November.
The payment amount is limited to 3 million KRW per company annually, covering 50% of export logistics costs. Eligible expenses include sea freight, terminal handling charges, inland transportation fees, and warehouse costs.
The support targets companies that can obtain a small and medium-sized enterprise certificate and have exported using Pyeongtaek Port. As long as the qualification requirements are met, support is available regardless of the business location.

He added, "It is especially recognized as providing practical help in strengthening the export competitiveness of small and medium-sized export companies at Pyeongtaek Port and in pioneering overseas markets."
