Seoul Water Reclamation Facility Corporation and Kyonggi University Sign Joint Research Agreement for Water Reclamation Innovation Technology Development
Active Joint Research, Technology and Information Exchange, and Mutual Cooperation for Talent Development to Advance the Water Industry
[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Cheol-young] On the 3rd, Seoul Water Reclamation Facilities Corporation announced that on the 27th, it signed a research agreement with the Industry-Academic Cooperation Foundation of Kyonggi University, which contributes to the realization of national and human societal values through global industry and industry-academia cooperation, for joint research, technology exchange, and human resource development.
The agreement was conducted in writing between the Chairman of Seoul Water Reclamation Facilities Corporation and the Director of the Industry-Academic Cooperation Foundation of Kyonggi University via non-face-to-face delivery. The main contents of the agreement include △ joint research to solve current issues and innovate the Water Reclamation Center △ customized talent development for the field △ development and operation of joint programs to discover and strengthen water industry talents △ mutual exchange of academic materials and latest technical information △ provision of field sites and advisory support for student education.
Lee Joon-sung, Director of the Industry-Academic Cooperation Foundation at Kyonggi University, said, "Through this business agreement, we plan to jointly consider and support solutions in all areas of water industry capacity building, smart solutions, and water innovation projects," adding, "For synergy effects, the specialized capabilities of the College of Creative Engineering at Kyonggi University (Dean Lee Byung-hee) will be actively supported."
