View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Moon Hyewon] President Yoon Seok-yeol requested the National Assembly on the 2nd to resend the confirmation report on the nomination of Lee Ju-ho, Deputy Prime Minister for Social Affairs and Minister of Education.
The Presidential Office spokesperson announced this through a press release late that afternoon.
The deadline for resubmission is the 4th of this month.
If the National Assembly does not comply with the resubmission request, the President can appoint the ministerial candidate.
President Yoon had previously submitted the nomination request for candidate Lee to the National Assembly on the 11th of last month.
