Russia resumes airstrikes... Air raid alarms sound across Ukraine
[Asia Economy Reporter Yu Je-hoon] As Russia resumed airstrikes, air raid alarms sounded across Ukraine on the 1st (local time), Sputnik News reported.
According to the report, an online map provided by the Ukrainian government indicated that air raid alerts were issued throughout Ukraine. It was reported that one resident died in the southern Mykolaiv region due to the airstrikes that day.
Earlier, the Russian Ministry of Defense stated that Ukraine carried out a drone attack on the Russian Black Sea Fleet in Sevastopol Bay on the Crimean Peninsula, and announced the suspension of participation in international grain trade mediated by the United Nations (UN). Russian President Vladimir Putin also said the previous day's airstrikes were a response to Ukraine's drones attacking Russian fleets and civilian ships using grain export routes, adding that "there may be further responses."
