Entertainment agency Studio Santa Claus Entertainment announced on the 1st that it will "temporarily downsize the existing management division."
This is a strategic choice focusing on drama and film production. Going forward, the company will concentrate on creating synergy through partnerships with talented production companies.
Founded in 2004, the company started as a management agency discovering and nurturing actors, and has expanded its business areas to drama and film production and distribution. Recently, it produced the Netflix original "My Name" and distributed films such as "Gangneung."
An official stated, "We plan to integrate our investment and distribution division with the overseas business division to broaden our perspective toward the global market," adding, "We will strive to enter not only the domestic but also the overseas markets."
