Mediarog, Launches New Brand 'U+ Umobile'
"10 Million Era of Altteul Phone: Renewal of Existing Brands"
[Asia Economy Reporter Cha Min-young] MediaLog announced on the 31st that it will launch a new MVNO brand, 'U+Umobile,' on the 1st of next month.
The company pursued a brand renewal from the existing brand 'U+Altteul Mobile' in response to market changes such as surpassing 10 million MVNO subscribers and the emergence of new operators.
Following the brand system of its parent company LG Uplus, 'U+' was placed at the front of the brand name to emphasize business connectivity with LG Uplus.
MediaLog introduces a digital CS system that allows customers to easily select data and call volumes and quickly and promptly handle services such as subscription, activation, and service changes. In mid-November, it will launch a new direct mall reflecting user experience (UX) design.
The subscription service also allows customers to freely choose and receive discounts without the constraints of bundled products. When using subscription products, customers can earn points by recommending friends or family. Accumulated points can be used for bill payments or to purchase desired products.
