The Anti-Corruption Crime Investigation Division 1 of the Gyeongnam Provincial Police Agency announced on the 28th that they conducted a search and seizure at the residences of two individuals related to the case on the 27th.
It is known that the police initiated the search and seizure after receiving a complaint regarding Mayor Jin recently.
The complaint reportedly contains details related to Mayor Jin's alleged violation of the Public Official Election Act.
