Interest-Free Intermediate Payments... 'Porena Pyeongtaek Hwayang' Opens Model House and Begins Sales
Hanwha Construction announced on the 28th that it has opened the model house for the apartment complex 'Forena Pyeongtaek Hwayang' located in Block 7-2 of the Hwayang District in Pyeongtaek, Gyeonggi Province, and has started sales.
Special supply applications will be accepted on November 7, first-priority applications on the 8th, and second-priority applications on the 9th. After the winners are announced on the 15th, the official contracts will be signed over three days from the 28th to the 30th. Applications can be submitted through the Korea Real Estate Board's subscription website. Move-in is scheduled for November 2025.
Applications are accepted nationwide, and since the area is classified as a non-regulated zone, those who have held a subscription account for more than 12 months and are over 19 years old can apply for first-priority subscription even if they already own a home. In particular, 60% of the 84㎡ units and 100% of the 99㎡ units will be allocated by lottery, increasing the chances of winning for applicants with low subscription scores. Additionally, financial benefits such as interest-free interim payments and a fixed first deposit are provided to reduce the financial burden on buyers.
Forena Pyeongtaek Hwayang consists of 10 buildings ranging from 2 basement floors to 29 above-ground floors, with a total of 995 units sized between 74㎡ and 99㎡. The unit distribution by type is as follows: △74㎡A 78 units, △74㎡B 75 units, △74㎡C 75 units, △74㎡D 53 units, △84㎡A 205 units, △84㎡B 363 units, and △99㎡ 146 units.
The Hwayang District in Pyeongtaek, where the complex is located, is the largest private-led urban development project in South Korea to date. It is being developed over an area of approximately 2,792,500㎡, comparable to the size of Yeouido in Seoul (about 2.9 million㎡), in Hwayang-ri, Hyeondeok-myeon, Pyeongtaek City, Gyeonggi Province. Infrastructure construction began in August last year. Once completed, it is expected to become a mini-new town residential area housing about 20,000 households and approximately 53,000 residents.

Given the large-scale industrial complexes nearby, the area is highly valued as a residential zone with abundant job opportunities and close proximity to workplaces. Plans include the construction of a general hospital with over 350 beds and an emergency medical center, as well as eight new schools: four elementary schools, two middle schools, and two high schools. Anjung Station (Seohae Line double-track railway, KTX) near the complex is scheduled to open in 2023, and by 2028, a connecting line linking the Pyeongtaek section of the Seohae Line and the Hwaseong section of the KTX Gyeongbu Line will be completed. Once Anjung Station on the Seohae Line opens and connects to the Gyeongbu High-Speed Railway, travel from Pyeongtaek to Seoul Station will take about 30 minutes.
