[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Cheol-young] The Seoul Foundation of Women and Family announced on the 29th that it will hold the ‘Salrim Market,’ a variety of experiential events that moms, dads, and children can enjoy together to celebrate Halloween Day.
The ‘Salrim Market’ will be held from the 29th at Daebang-dong Space Salrim Yard and various indoor spaces, where visitors can fully feel the autumn atmosphere.
This market is special in that citizens of all ages can participate directly as good sellers. A bazaar is also prepared where high-quality secondhand goods can be sold at affordable prices and bartered. Items from Space Salrim resident companies and citizen sellers, including food, handicrafts, and children’s products, will be sold.
The Halloween Day program for child visitors is also noteworthy. ▲The ‘Bubbling Halloween Pumpkin Experiment Show’ and ‘Spooky Halloween Experiment Party,’ where children make and experiment with scientific toys ▲‘Sparkling Halloween Candy Box Trick or Treat!’ where children make pumpkin candy baskets and enjoy a Halloween parade ▲and the ‘Halloween Day Children’s Cooking Class’ program, where children make various character cookies and macarons suitable for Halloween, are prepared.
This market will also operate the ‘Ujuin (Our Neighborhood Kids as Owners) Economic Playground’ program in collaboration with the Municipal Base No. 2 Our Neighborhood Care Center (Daebang). It is an activity where children directly sell secondhand goods at a flea market and experience the economic market through play. On the first-floor yard of Space Salrim, face painting booths and photo zones will be operated to make Halloween more fun through events.
