SCK Company Appoints Son Jeonghyeon, CEO of Shinsegae I&C, as CEO "Aiming to Strengthen Competitiveness"
[Asia Economy Reporter Jeon Jinyoung] Son Jeonghyun, CEO of Shinsegae I&C, was appointed as the CEO of Starbucks Korea (currently SCK Company) on the 27th.
Shinsegae Group announced this personnel appointment as part of its 2023 regular executive reshuffle on the same day.
Shinsegae stated that this appointment entrusts him with the important tasks of organizational reform and strengthening digital and future competitiveness.
CEO Son was born in 1968 in Busan Metropolitan City and graduated from Korea University with a degree in Trade.
He joined SK Telecom in 2007, worked at SK Holdings in 2011, and from 2015 served as Executive Director in charge of support and Senior Executive Director of the IT Business Division at Shinsegae I&C.

In October 2020, he became the CEO of Shinsegae I&C. Through this appointment, he will take on the role of CEO at SCK Company.
