Air Seoul Resumes Osaka and Fukuoka Flights... "Significant Expansion of Japan Routes"
[Asia Economy Reporter Yoo Hyun-seok] Air Seoul is significantly expanding its flights to Japan for the winter season.
Air Seoul announced on the 27th that it will resume flights on the Incheon?Osaka and Incheon?Fukuoka routes starting from the 30th. Both routes will initially operate one flight per day, seven days a week. From the 21st of next month, the Incheon?Osaka route will increase to two flights per day, totaling 14 flights per week.
The Incheon?Tokyo (Narita) route, currently operating twice a week, will also increase to seven flights per week starting on the 30th. From the 21st of next month, it will further increase to 14 flights per week. Additionally, on November 23rd, Air Seoul will resume service on the Incheon?Takamatsu route. Air Seoul is the first Korean carrier to restart flights to regional airports in small Japanese cities.
To celebrate the expansion of its Japan routes, Air Seoul will launch a special promotion starting at 10 a.m. today. The round-trip total fare, including fuel surcharges and airport facility fees, starts from ▲Incheon?Fukuoka at KRW 179,400 ▲Incheon?Takamatsu at KRW 185,000 ▲Incheon?Osaka (Kansai) at KRW 231,800 ▲Incheon?Tokyo at KRW 281,100. The travel period is from the 21st of next month until March 25, 2023.

An Air Seoul official stated, “After Japan resumed visa-free entry, demand for flights to Japan has greatly increased. We expect travel demand to Japan to grow even more toward the end of the year, so we plan to actively expand and launch additional Japan routes.”
