Daejeon City Catches 18 People Engaged in Illegal Real Estate Brokerage Activities
[Asia Economy (Daejeon) Reporter Jeong Il-woong] Eighteen individuals were caught violating the Licensed Real Estate Agent Act in Daejeon.
The Daejeon Special Judicial Police announced on the 27th that since August, they have conducted joint crackdowns on illegal real estate brokerage activities in collaboration with autonomous districts and the Daejeon branch of the Korea Association of Licensed Real Estate Agents, achieving these enforcement results.
The special judicial police referred eight people to the Daejeon District Prosecutors' Office, including one unregistered broker, one person subject to joint penalty provisions, three brokerage assistants who conducted brokerage work under the name or trade name of licensed real estate agents, and three licensed real estate agents who allowed their names or trade names to be used by these assistants.
Additionally, ten individuals were referred to the relevant autonomous districts for administrative measures: one person who failed to report employee dismissal, one person who omitted signatures and seals on contracts, five who violated the obligation to verify and explain brokerage objects, two who violated display and advertisement requirements, and one who violated posting obligations.
