The 15th Graduation Ceremony of Hamyang Agricultural College Held ... A Total of 1,115 Graduates Produced
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Soon-kyung] The Agricultural Technology Center of Hamyang-gun, Gyeongnam announced on the 26th that it held the 15th graduation ceremony of the Hamyang Agricultural College for 2022 in the farmers' meeting room.
The county has been operating Hamyang Agricultural College since 2008 to cultivate professional farmers who will lead the future of Hamyang agriculture. Over the past 14 years until last year, 1,061 students from 30 departments have graduated. At this year's 15th graduation ceremony, 54 students from 2 departments graduated, bringing the total number of graduates to 1,115.
In 2022, Hamyang Agricultural College opened two courses in April: the E-commerce class and the Agro-food Fermentation class. The curriculum consisted of theory and practical training, e-learning education, and other content, completing all courses with a 100-hour academic schedule over six months for each course.
The graduates said, "There were things I wanted to learn for a long time, and I am glad I could learn them through the Agricultural College. Based on what I learned, I will strive to apply it in the field and become a professional farmer."
