View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Yuri Kim] Lotte Distribution Group announced on the 26th that from the 27th of this month to the 9th of next month, it will hold an integrated online and offline discount event called 'Lottky Day' with eight Lotte distribution affiliates including department stores, marts, supermarkets, Lotte ON, home shopping, Hi-Mart, 7-Eleven, and Members.
During the first week of Lottky Day (October 27 to November 2), Lotte Mart will hold a sale offering up to 50% off all first-grade Korean beef products in celebration of Korean Beef Day on November 1. The highest grade Korean beef sold at Lotte Mart, Marble Nine Korean beef, will also be available at up to 50% discount. Lotte Mart has prepared about 900 heads of Korean beef, approximately 180 tons, for this event. The representative items are 'First-grade Korean beef sirloin' and 'Marble Nine Korean beef sirloin.' Other popular grilling cuts such as tenderloin, striploin, chuck flap tail, and skirt meat will also be available at prices up to 40% lower than usual. For seasonal health care, a 'Large pack of Korean beef bone broth and mixed bones' will be offered at promotional prices.
A buy-one-get-one-free (1+1) event is also prepared and will run until November 2. Representative products include 'Ottogi Oyster Jjamppong,' 'Lotte Essent Brunch Vienna sausages (2 types),' 'Sajo Daerim Yellow Croaker Fish Cake,' and 'Clean Rollback & Clean Gloves.'
Lotte Super will offer up to 50% discount on fresh food during the first week of Lottky Day (October 26 to November 1). When paying with a Lotte Card, customers can purchase 'First-grade Korean beef soup cuts and bulgogi' at about 50% off. L.POINT member discount events will also be held. 'Haenam Honey Sweet Potatoes' will be sold at about 22% lower than the usual price. 'Tongyeong Spinach' will be discounted by about 17%. 'Nongga's Maek Jeju Tangerines' will be offered at about 10% lower prices.
Buy-one-get-one-free promotions will also be available at the supermarket. Products such as 'Binggrae Yoplait,' 'Nokchawon Honey Citron Tea,' 'Fontana Soup,' and 'Dongwon Yangban Porridge' can be purchased with one item’s price and get one more free.
Lotte Hi-Mart will hold discount events on popular large home appliances such as TVs, washing machines, and air conditioners. Offline stores will run the first phase from the 28th to the 31st and the second phase from the 4th to the 7th of next month, offering up to 30% off on seven event products. On Hi-Mart Mall, from the 27th of this month to the 9th of next month, a one-day special sale called 'Lottky Seven' on seven products, as well as special exhibitions of popular home appliance and furniture brands, will be held. There will also be plans for point rewards for new and dormant members and prize draw events.
Lotte Department Store will hold an outerwear event from the 28th to the 30th, offering a 10% gift benefit to customers purchasing major brands for women, men, sports, and contemporary categories. From the 1st to the 9th of next month, customers using the Lotte Department Store application will receive a 10% discount on fashion products and, for purchases over 300,000 KRW, 600,000 KRW, and 1,000,000 KRW, will be given 15,000 KRW, 30,000 KRW, and 50,000 KRW respectively in Lotte mobile gift certificates.
7-Eleven will hold a Pepero Day event from the 1st to the 10th of next month, offering a 20% discount and an additional 20% point accumulation (up to 5,000 KRW) when paying 10,000 KRW or more with L.pay on Pepero Day event products. Lotte ON and Lotte Home Shopping will continue the ongoing 'Lotte ON World Lottky Day' and 'Shopping Support Fund 17 Billion KRW' events that started on the 24th.
Meanwhile, a common promotion covering all Lotte distribution affiliates will also be introduced. From the 27th of this month to the 9th of next month, the first 100,000 customers who pay with L.pay during the event period will receive up to 20% points back. After downloading coupons from the L.POINT app and participating in Lottky Day, customers who pay with L.pay at two or more of the seven participating distribution companies can receive an additional 20% of the purchase amount in points, up to a maximum of 10,000 points. Customers who pay with L.pay at two or more companies can also enter the 'Catch the Lottky' prize event held on Lotte ON. Prizes worth a total of 140 million KRW will be awarded by lottery, including 20 one-night stays at Signiel Hotel, 5 robot vacuum cleaners, 5 Apple Watches, and 10 winners of 300,000 L.POINT points.
