Georges Duboeuf Beaujolais Nouveau 24,000 Bottles Sold
[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Chun-han] GS25 announced on the 25th that it will hold a pre-order event for the 2022 Beaujolais Nouveau until the 8th of next month, ahead of its official launch.
During the event, customers who pre-order Beaujolais Nouveau and pick it up after 6 p.m. on the release date, the 17th of next month, will receive double the Wine25Plus exclusive membership points.
The Beaujolais Nouveau to be introduced this time is 24,000 bottles of "Georges Duboeuf Beaujolais Nouveau," produced by the winery established by Georges Duboeuf. Experts say this year's vintage is more concentrated with ripe strawberry, blackcurrant, raspberry, and cranberry aromas than any other year, resulting in a rich berry juice scent.
Since 2002, GS25 has sold Beaujolais Nouveau in line with the global release date. The total number of Beaujolais Nouveau bottles sold by GS25 has reached about 800,000. With an annual average of 40,000 bottles, GS25 has established itself as the largest distribution channel for Beaujolais Nouveau through consistent handling and sales.
