View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Chun-han] Lotte Homeshopping announced on the 25th that it will showcase works by renowned artist Lee Wal-jong, famous for his Jeju Island Jungdo series, on the mobile TV channel Elive on the 27th.
Artist Lee is a representative Korean painter who has received awards such as the Korean Art Artist Award and the Woljeon Art Award. The Jungdo series of Jeju Island, which he has been creating continuously for 32 years since 1991, embodies the philosophy and belief that all things in the world are equal.
This broadcast will feature a total of 10 limited edition prints, including three new works being revealed for the first time, and will be live-streamed on-site from Gallery Waljong at The Star Hue Golf & Resort located in Yangpyeong-gun, Gyeonggi Province. This is the first time artworks are being sold on TV home shopping.
