Shall We Travel Abroad? ... DGB Daegu Bank's Fall 'Overseas Travel Promotion' Currency Exchange Event
Up to 90% Exchange Rate Discount, Travel Benefits for Customers Exchanging Over $200 with 8 Perks Provided
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Yeo Jong-gu] DGB Daegu Bank has launched an autumn overseas travel event.
Daegu Bank announced on the 24th that it will hold the ‘#TravelLove #Excitement #Memories Customer Foreign Exchange Event,’ offering various benefits to foreign exchange customers as overseas travelers increase due to rising travel demand and the implementation of PCR test exemptions for inbound travelers.
With the resumption of Daegu departure routes to Japan and visa-free tourism to Japan restarting after 2 years and 7 months, an increase in customers using Daegu Airport is expected, signaling a revitalization of overseas travel.
Accordingly, DGB Daegu Bank will provide up to a 90% preferential rate benefit on JPY (Japanese Yen) and USD (US Dollar) foreign exchange through its non-face-to-face foreign exchange service, ‘Foreign Currency E-Wallet,’ until the end of this year.
Along with this event, customers who exchange foreign currency worth over $200 through branches or the Foreign Currency E-Wallet will receive discount benefits from eight partner companies, including airlines, car rental companies, and duty-free shops.
Customers who take photos of their overseas travels and share them on Instagram with the hashtags ‘#DGBOverseasTravel #DaeguBank’ will be entered into a draw to win gifts such as desktop photo frames.
Additionally, customers who donate to the ‘Love Foreign Coin Donation Box’ placed at each DGB Daegu Bank branch and share a certification photo on Instagram with the hashtags ‘#DaeguBank #LoveForeignCoinDonation’ or present it to branch staff will receive character goods on a first-come, first-served basis.
