On the 24th, the Seongdong Police Station in Seoul announced that they had sent Mr. A, a man in his 40s, to the prosecution under detention on charges of assault leading to death.
Mr. A is accused of assaulting Mr. B, a man in his 50s passing in front of a restaurant run by Mr. A's wife, at around 8:40 p.m. on the 19th, resulting in Mr. B's death. It is known that Mr. A and Mr. B were strangers. According to the police investigation, Mr. A reportedly admitted to the charges.
