On the 21st, the Busan Metropolitan Police Agency held the 77th Police Day commemorative ceremony at the Police Education Center.
About 70 people attended the ceremony, including the chairman of the Busan Autonomous Police Committee, the president of the Busan Police Association, and the chairman of the Police Development Council. Eight police officers and citizens, representing 677 police officers and 608 civilians, received commendations and letters of appreciation.
On this day, President Kim Young-do received a letter of appreciation as the representative of the civilian awardees.
Since 2016, Kim Young-do has been active as a member of the Police Development Council of the Busan Metropolitan Police Agency, contributing significantly to the revitalization of community policing by providing various suggestions for police development and diverse opinions on the establishment of Busan police security policies.
