"November 10 at BEXCO: 'Dawn of the New Government's Local Era'"
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Yong-woo] The 'Local Era Expo,' which addresses local autonomy and balanced development together, will be held in Busan.
Busan City announced on the 24th that it will hold the '2022 Korea Local Era Expo in Busan' at BEXCO for three days from November 10 to 12.
The event's slogan is "A New Korea, a Livable Local Era." Mayor Park Hyung-joon, governors from across the country, and key government officials are expected to attend the opening ceremony.
This event integrates the Balanced Development Expo and the Local Autonomy Expo, which were held separately each year, for the first time since the new government took office.
The new government is promoting integrated legislation through a special law on local autonomy decentralization and regional balanced development, and efforts to realize the local era are becoming visible, including the upcoming launch of the 'Local Era Committee,' which will oversee the president's regional pledge tasks.
Busan City is focusing its capabilities on successfully hosting the event to lead policies and issues related to region-led decentralization and balanced development.
During the event, exhibitions will operate policy halls, city and province halls, and special halls. Busan City will operate the ▲Green Smart 15-Minute City Hall ▲2030 Busan World Expo Promotion Hall ▲Future Hall of the Ultra-High Cooperation Era.
Additionally, the ▲Busan-Ulsan-Gyeongnam Youth Hope Connection Job Fair ▲Policy Conference will be held, and participatory side events such as the ▲Hometown Love Donation Promotion Hall featuring Busan City’s ambassador player Lee Dae-ho ▲food trucks ▲busking performances will be held in a variety of ways.
The Busan Exhibition Hall will embody the future vision of Smart City Busan under the theme of the 15-minute city. An LED board media art facade using various videos and educational content will be installed to captivate visitors' attention.
This 'Local Era Expo' will be operated as a hybrid event combining online and offline formats. Real-time streaming video technology will be used, and each city and province will organize online policy menus.
In addition to the website, it will be optimized for mobile versions, allowing free real-time viewing without restrictions on time and space.
