Results of Seoul City District Custodian Bank Selection?
Selection of 23 Banks to Operate Seoul District Treasury for 4 Years Starting Next Year Completed... [Asia Economy Reporter Jong-il Park] The selection of district treasury banks for Seoul's 25 autonomous districts is reaching its final stage.
Starting with Eunpyeong-gu and Guro-gu, the selection for 23 districts has been completed up to Seongbuk-gu.
Only two districts remain: Gwangjin-gu and Dongdaemun-gu.
These two districts will select their treasury banks on the 25th.
So far, among the 23 districts, Woori Bank secured 14 districts (Jongno-gu, Jung-gu, Yongsan-gu, Jungnang-gu, Seongbuk-gu, Seodaemun-gu, Mapo-gu, Yangcheon-gu, Gangseo-gu, Geumcheon-gu, Yeongdeungpo-gu, Gwanak-gu, Songpa-gu, Gangdong-gu), Shinhan Bank secured 6 districts (Seongdong-gu, Gangbuk-gu, Eunpyeong-gu, Guro-gu, Seocho-gu, Gangnam-gu), and Kookmin Bank secured 3 districts (Nowon-gu, Dobong-gu, Dongjak-gu).
However, Woori Bank lost Eunpyeong-gu and Guro-gu to Shinhan Bank. Shinhan Bank, while securing Eunpyeong-gu and Guro-gu, lost Yongsan-gu to Woori Bank.
Kookmin Bank added Dobong-gu and Dongjak-gu to its existing Nowon-gu treasury bank districts.
Therefore, the results for Gwangjin-gu (currently Kookmin Bank) and Dongdaemun-gu (currently Woori Bank), to be decided on the 25th, are attracting attention.
These district treasury banks will operate the district treasuries for four years starting next year.
