The 26th World Korean Business Convention Opens on the 27th in Yeosu... Largest Scale Ever
Over 1,000 Korean Businesspeople from 141 Cities in 67 Countries and Domestic Company Representatives Gather in One Place
Held from 27th to 30th at Yeosu World Expo Hall... Trade Committee Meetings and Export Consultations Conducted
[Yeosu=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Cheol-hoon] Jeonnam Yeosu City announced that the '26th World Korean Business Convention' will be held at the Yeosu World Expo Center from the 27th to the 30th.
Under the theme of 'Building and Utilizing the Korean Economic Network,' it is jointly hosted by Jeollanam-do, Yeosu City, the World Korean Trade Association, and Yonhap News.
According to Yeosu City (Mayor Jeong Gi-myeong), this is the second time the World Korean Business Convention is held in Yeosu, following the 19th convention in 2014.
The four-day event will officially begin on the 27th with ▲Investment Environment Briefing ▲Opening Ceremony ▲Dinner jointly hosted by the Governor of Jeonnam and the Mayor of Yeosu.
Main events include ▲Trade Committee Meeting ▲Export Consultation ▲Trade Show ▲Briefings on Overseas Market Entry in the U.S. and Vietnam ▲Next Generation Global Network Forum ▲Tour of Yeosu National Industrial Complex.
Additionally, during the convention, the Digital Gallery at the Yeosu World Expo Center will operate the 2026 Yeosu World Islands Expo Promotion Hall and a Regional Specialty Products Exhibition Hall, attracting the attention of businesspeople.
Jang Gwang-il, Head of Yeosu City Regional Economy Division, said, “We hope that the 26th World Korean Business Convention will be a meaningful opportunity for Korean businesspeople worldwide and domestic companies to form networks and seek mutual growth.” He added, “In particular, we will do our best to support the event so that the competitiveness of our local companies is widely recognized by Korean businesspeople from various countries and linked to domestic investment.”
