Space Stage Original Musical ‘Dear My Laika’ to Close on the 30th

This work won the Excellence Award in the 'Korea Creative Content Agency - 20201 Korea Content Awards Story Category' competition. It was praised as "an excellent work that creatively conveys the SF genre through imaginative storytelling and music." It was selected for the '2022 KT&G Sangsangmadang Original Musical Support Project - Sangsang Stage Challenge' and is currently on stage, closing on the 30th.
The story follows astronaut Laika, who lost her memory after a long space journey, on her quest to recover it. It tells the story of Laika, who embarks on a space exploration to find a planet resembling Earth, the pilot Dr. K, a neurologist who boarded the spaceship with her, and Belka, the mission specialist who became the first human to pass through a wormhole, discussing the value of overcoming time and space.
Laika, who begins a long space exploration as part of a project to explore a planet similar to Earth, is double-cast with Kang Jung-woo, who appeared in musicals such as "Diaghilev," "The Great Comet," and "The Moment," and Kim Ji-cheol, who has performed in "Wonder Boy," "Fan Letter," "Nature of Forgetting," and "1976 Harlan County."
Belka, the mission specialist who was the first human to pass through a wormhole, is alternately played by Jang Min-su, known for his roles in musicals such as "Mia Familia," "Fan Letter," and "Gwangju," and Kim Ji-hoon, who appeared in "Bare the Musical," "Nijinsky," and "Diaghilev."
