On the 21st, LG Electronics announced that on the 20th (local time), it invited influential figures cooperating with the BIE to the new office building of its French subsidiary located in La D?fense, the commercial center of Paris, France, to request support for the ‘2030 Busan World Expo’ bid. Attendees included Jacques Kosowski, Mayor of Courbevoie, France; C?dric Flavien, Courbevoie City Council member; Yoann Bl?, Vice Governor of Hauts-de-Seine Province, France; William Pro, representative of the Hauts-de-Seine Chamber of Commerce; Yae Dae-jong, Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to France; Lee Cheon-guk, LG Electronics Europe Regional Head; and Hwang Yong-soon, Head of the French subsidiary.
LG Electronics explained the significance and rationale for hosting the ‘2030 Busan World Expo’ and emphasized Busan as the optimal city for the World Expo, expressing its commitment to the bid.
At the showroom set up in the new office building of the French subsidiary, LG Electronics showcased innovative customer experiences featuring various premium products, including the 42-inch (approximately 105 cm diagonal) bendable gaming OLED TV ‘LG OLED Flex,’ the 136-inch (approximately 3.45 m diagonal) Micro LED display ‘LG Magnit,’ and the ‘LG Dios Objet Collection Mood Up,’ which allows users to change refrigerator colors via the LG ThinQ app to upgrade the ambiance of their space.

They continue their promotional efforts for the Busan World Expo bid through company billboards located in Times Square, New York, USA, and Piccadilly Circus, London, UK. Recently, they also carried out promotional activities for the Busan World Expo bid at ‘IFA 2022,’ Europe’s largest consumer electronics exhibition held in Berlin, Germany, and at the Amundi Evian Championship, a major tournament of the US Women’s Professional Golf Association (LPGA).
