Police File Charges Against Presidential Security Service Officer for Drunk Driving

The Mapo Police Station in Seoul announced on the 20th that it had booked Officer A, a member of the 202 Security Unit of the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency, on charges of violating the Road Traffic Act (drunk driving) in mid-last month.
It is known that Officer A was caught driving under the influence in the Sangam-dong area of Mapo-gu last September. At that time, his blood alcohol concentration was reported to be at the level warranting license cancellation.
