OM, Chinese Wanghong Live Commerce Company, Renames Itself LABL Corporation
[Asia Economy, reporter Choi Donghyun] OM, a Chinese live commerce company specializing in Wanghong (influencer) marketing, announced on October 20 that it has changed its name to 'LABL Corporation'.
Wanghong is an abbreviation of "Wangluo Hongren," a compound word combining "Wangluo" (meaning "internet") and "Hongren" (meaning "celebrity"). In China, it refers to influential online personalities. LABL Corporation is a live commerce company specializing in Wanghong, which was acquired in January by Revu Corporation, the operator of the domestic influencer marketing platform 'REVU'. Along with the name change, LABL Corporation also unveiled a new corporate identity (CI).
LABL Corporation's main business model is providing comprehensive consulting services for Korean brands seeking to enter the Chinese market. Under the company slogan, "Connecting Korean brands with Chinese consumers," LABL Corporation focuses on branding, content marketing, and live commerce in the Chinese market, collaborating with famous Chinese Wanghong such as Li Jiaqi and Xu Shan.
