[Asia Economy Reporter Yoon Dong-joo] Lee Jae-myung, leader of the Democratic Party of Korea, attended an emergency Supreme Council meeting held at the National Assembly on the 20th and delivered a speech.

At this meeting, Lee strongly criticized the prosecution's attempt to search the central party office, saying, "Remember the saying, 'He who lives by the sword dies by the sword.'" He also stated, "I can only understand the prosecution's attitude as aiming to insult, intimidate, and fabricate," and added, "They say they will cooperate with the investigation, but cooperation cannot be accepted. I believe our people will understand what the prosecution's attitude of forcibly conducting the investigation truly means."
