According to the Central Disease Control Headquarters on the 20th, as of midnight, 25,431 new COVID-19 cases were added, bringing the total cumulative number of confirmed cases to 25,219,546. Among the new cases, 25,378 were domestic transmissions, and 53 were imported cases.
The number of new cases on this day decreased by 4,072 from the previous day (29,503). Compared to a week ago (26,957), it decreased by 1,526, marking two consecutive days of decline compared to the previous week since the 19th. The number of critically ill patients hospitalized increased by 6 from the previous day to 249.
