[Asia Economy Reporter Cha Min-young] SK Telecom announced on the 20th that it will start accepting applications for a lottery event to find the owners of the last 5,000 Gold Numbers of the year from the 21st.
Gold Numbers are numbers with specific patterns such as 1111, 0002, 3000, numbers identical to the area code, or numbers with particular meanings. This time, there are 9 types of Gold Numbers available for application, and each person can apply for up to 3 numbers.
Customers who want Gold Numbers can apply at SKT official certified agencies and the T Direct Shop until November 3rd.
The results of the Gold Number lottery can be checked at SKT official certified agencies and the T Direct Shop from November 8th. Winning customers will be individually notified of their winning status via text message. Winners can register and use their winning numbers between November 11th and November 30th.
Separately, MVNO subscribers can also apply for a separate Gold Number lottery through the website of their respective MVNO service providers.
