Lotte Chemical Showcases Eco-Friendly Specialty Material Technology at Germany K-2022 Global Exhibition
Lotte Chemical and Lotte Jeongmil Chemical Participate Simultaneously
[Asia Economy Reporter Choi Seoyoon] Lotte Chemical, together with Lotte Fine Chemical, will participate in 'K-2022,' held in D?sseldorf, Germany, for eight days from the 19th to the 26th (local time).
K-2022 is the world's largest plastics and rubber exhibition held once every three years, attracting the most customers and visitors. This year, more than 3,000 companies worldwide, including global chemical companies such as BASF, DUPONT, and Covestro, are participating.
Lotte Chemical first participated in the K exhibition in 2019, and this year has prepared a 187㎡ booth. It will introduce new growth engines such as hydrogen energy business and battery materials business, representative products such as mobility and specialty, resource circulation projects (Project LOOP), and products applying plastic recycling materials.
This year, Lotte Chemical newly established the corporate vision 'Every step for green,' which embodies the meaning of eco-friendly future growth. It signifies that Lotte Chemical's growth and business are sustainable and that it moves forward together toward a greener world.
The booth is composed of three sections: ▲Green Play Zone ▲Specialty Solution Zone ▲Project LOOP·Eco-Friendly Zone, highlighting the 'Every step for green' vision and the capabilities of eco-friendly specialty materials.
Each zone plans to attract visitors' attention by displaying various physical products as well as content utilizing videos and experiential elements. The Green Play Zone organically shows the value chain of new growth engines. It introduces the hydrogen energy business, battery materials business, and CCU content using models, transparent displays, and video content.
The Specialty Solution Zone introduces strategic products and technological capabilities. It exhibits Lotte Chemical's specialized representative products such as specialty, mobility, and design solutions. The Project LOOP·Eco-Friendly Zone exhibits the resource circulation project Project LOOP, PCR-applied products, and green materials such as pharmaceutical capsules and food.
