"Customized Theme" Samsung Securities Launches AI-Powered Stock Portfolio 'JusikGulling'
Utilize a total of 2,531 listed domestic stocks, create your own customized theme through keyword search, and invest
[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Seon-ae] Samsung Securities announced on the 18th that it will launch an AI-based stock portfolio service called 'Jusik Gulling' for digital customers. Launched in April, Samsung Securities' 'Gulling' is a digital asset management service that provides personalized portfolios using 'funds' and 'exchange-traded funds (ETFs)'. After about six months, it has expanded to 'Jusik Gulling', which offers portfolios with 'individual domestic stocks'.
This Jusik Gulling allows investors to select promising themes and invest in related stocks all at once, making it a useful investment alternative for investors who are unsure which stocks to choose while looking for low-price buying opportunities.
The basic themes available in Jusik Gulling include 23 'popular themes' provided through AI analysis using various big data and comprehensive analysis of future growth rates. The stocks included in each theme are carefully selected 10 stocks analyzed by AI from all 2,531 stocks listed on the domestic KOSPI and KOSDAQ as of October 13 (based on Korea Exchange), using structured data such as financial statements and unstructured data such as disclosures, IR, news, and patents.
For example, current popular themes include 'Aerospace', 'Electric Vehicles', 'Single-Person Households', and 'Aging Population'. When an investor selects a theme and inputs the investment amount, they can check the included stocks. The stock weights within the theme are basically distributed in equal quantities according to the investment amount set by the investor.
If investors want different weights, they can check Jusik Gulling's recommended weights considering stock volatility and invest accordingly. More specifically, investors can directly adjust stock weights or delete stocks they do not want to invest in, creating a customized portfolio.
If the desired theme is not among the 23 popular themes, investors can search for keywords such as 'Education' or 'Semiconductors' to check related stocks and create their own themes. Similar to 'popular themes', AI analysis suggests 10 stocks with high relevance, and investors can select at least one stock to invest in.
Each theme, after detailed adjustments, can be saved as up to 20 'favorite themes', and investors can select up to three themes to invest in a portfolio within one account. For example, if an investor chooses to invest 5 million KRW, 2 million KRW, and 1 million KRW in the 'Aerospace', 'Electric Vehicles', and 'Single-Person Households' themes respectively, a new account containing a total of 8 million KRW in investment assets will be created, and investments will be automatically made according to the stock weights within each theme in that account.
After investing, investors can conveniently manage their portfolios through features such as setting target return alarms for each portfolio on the 'Balance' screen. Additionally, they can check stock-specific issues in the 'Theme Diagnosis' and perform rebalancing themselves.

Kim Sang-hoon, Executive Director of Digital Marketing at Samsung Securities, said, "In a time when financial environment uncertainties still remain, interest in portfolio investment rather than individual stocks or products is increasing," adding, "Especially, Gulling, which is provided as a hyper-personalized customized service reflecting each investor's investment tendencies and goals, has now been expanded to stocks."
