Gyeongnam Office of Education Reaches Agreement on 66 Clauses with Health Teachers' Union
Gyeongnam Office of Education signed a collective agreement with the Gyeongnam Health Teachers' Labor Union on 66 items, including improvement of working conditions.

The provincial Office of Education stated that following the union's collective bargaining request, established on June 9, 2020, the labor and management reached an agreement after more than seven rounds of main and working-level negotiations.
According to the Office of Education, this agreement consists of a preamble and 29 articles in the main text, 6 articles in the supplementary provisions, totaling 66 items.
The main contents include ▲guaranteeing the autonomy of union activities ▲protection and promotion of health for students and staff ▲organization and personnel systems ▲improvement of working conditions and treatment.
Superintendent Park Jonghun said, “The agreed matters will be faithfully implemented according to lawful procedures and methods,” and added, “I hope this collective agreement will serve as an opportunity to foster a culture of communication and coexistence between the Office of Education and the union.”
