Issued Personal Protection Warning... 20s Male Arrested for Stalking Again Within 1 Hour
[Asia Economy Reporter Gong Byung-sun] A man in his 20s who stalked his ex-girlfriend again just one hour after receiving a warning from the police was arrested.
On the 17th, the Gangbuk Police Station in Seoul arrested Mr. A (28) on charges including violation of the Stalking Punishment Act.
Mr. A is accused of visiting the officetel in Gangbuk-gu where the woman he had lived with for four years resides, and ringing the doorbell twice around midnight that day. He had also visited the victim's home and rung the doorbell at around 10:30 p.m. the previous day. The police confirmed that the victim had requested personal protection last month and issued a warning to Mr. A, but he stalked her again within an hour.
