Top Buyer A Purchased 137 Low-Priced Houses in Provincial Areas Over Three and a Half Years
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Min-young] It has been revealed that over the past three and a half years, 10 multi-homeowners purchased 915 low-priced houses with official prices under 300 million KRW in provincial areas. The region where they bought the most provincial houses was Chungnam.
According to an analysis of data submitted by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport to Min Hong-cheol, a member of the National Assembly Land, Infrastructure and Transport Committee from the Democratic Party of Korea, from 2019 to the end of July 2022, a total of 41,968 individuals purchased two or more low-priced houses with official prices under 300 million KRW in provincial areas excluding the metropolitan area, metropolitan cities, and special self-governing cities. The total purchase amount reached 16.906265 trillion KRW.
The total number of low-priced houses purchased and the amount by location were ▲Gyeongnam 23,133 units (4.295913 trillion KRW), ▲Chungnam 20,853 units (2.975268 trillion KRW), ▲Gyeongbuk 17,565 units (2.495468 trillion KRW), ▲Chungbuk 15,366 units (2.169742 trillion KRW), ▲Jeonbuk 14,020 units (1.904644 trillion KRW), ▲Gangwon 12,826 units (1.683645 trillion KRW), ▲Jeonnam 9,750 units (1.113168 trillion KRW), and ▲Jeju 1,157 units (268.416 billion KRW).
Among them, the top 10 buyers purchased 915 units over the past three and a half years. The locations and number of provincial houses they purchased by region were ▲Chungnam 359 units, ▲Jeonnam 248 units, ▲Jeonbuk 163 units, ▲Gyeongbuk 67 units, ▲Gangwon 50 units, ▲Chungbuk 26 units, and ▲Gyeongnam 2 units.
Meanwhile, the top buyer, Mr. A, born in 1982, purchased 137 low-priced houses in provincial areas over the past three and a half years, followed by Mr. B, born in 1984, who purchased 112 units during the same period.
