KT Unveils Next-Generation Internet Solutions at Global Telecom Exhibition
[Asia Economy Reporter Oh Su-yeon] KT announced on the 17th that it will showcase next-generation internet solutions at the global telecommunications exhibition 'Network X 2022,' held in Amsterdam, Netherlands, from the 18th to the 20th (local time).
At this event, held simultaneously online and offline, KT will present ▲an intelligent control-based Micro OLT solution ▲a Biz-customized Wi-Fi solution, developed in collaboration with domestic SMEs as part of the 'Next-Generation Internet Advancement Project' promoted by the Ministry of Science and ICT and the National Information Society Agency (NIA).
The 'Micro OLT (Optical Line Terminal)' is an ultra-compact solution optimized for island regions and building environments. Artificial intelligence (AI) technology is applied to detect network failures occurring over long distances in real-time, enabling stable operation. This solution can be used to convert internal building wiring to optical cables or to upgrade telecommunications infrastructure in island areas.
The 'Biz-customized Wi-Fi' solution simultaneously provides three frequency bands (2.4 GHz, 5 GHz, 6 GHz) and configures frequencies tailored to service environments such as small to medium-sized stores, enterprises, and public institutions. Additionally, it selectively offers application services according to customer needs, such as attendance management for corporate clients and simple access authentication and visitor management for store customers.
