View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Pyeonghwa] The Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA), together with the Seoul Investment Promotion Agency, promoted the 'GITEX North Star Dubai 2022' Startup Seoul Pavilion for three days starting from the 10th in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
GITEX is an integrated exhibition and consultation platform where global startups meet prominent investors from the Middle East and Africa. It is the largest IT-focused exhibition in the Middle East, marking its 42nd edition this year. This year, 150,000 people from 144 countries attended. KOTRA participated in this event to support domestic advanced technology startups.
The Startup Seoul Pavilion organized by KOTRA included 10 startups aiming to enter the Middle Eastern market. These companies are actively conducting business in fields such as Information and Communication Technology (ICT), cloud computing, and cybersecurity. KOTRA enabled participating companies to showcase their main products at GITEX and participate in events like the SuperNova Challenge. Exclusive pitching days for prominent investors were also arranged.
