ABL Life Launches Year-End Volunteer Activities with Briquette Sharing
[Asia Economy Reporter Changhwan Lee] ABL Life announced on the 14th that it will begin full-scale year-end volunteer activities, starting with the "Sharing Love Briquettes" campaign, following the relaxation of the government's COVID-19 quarantine guidelines.
On the 13th, about 30 ABL Life employees delivered 2,000 briquettes to 10 households with elderly individuals living alone near Danggogae Station in Nowon-gu, Seoul.
Starting with this volunteer activity, ABL Life plans to donate a total of 20,000 briquettes to the Bapsang Community Briquette Bank. They also plan to practice neighborly love at the end of the year through various volunteer activities such as kimchi sharing, childcare facility environment cleanup, and play volunteering for children in care.

Yoon Mondo, head of ABL Life's FC office who participated in the volunteer work, said, "I hope the elderly living alone, who desperately need a 3.65kg briquette to get through the winter, will feel the warmth of love and spend the cold winter warmly." He added, "We will continue to strive to convey the value of insurance, which is love, to marginalized groups."
