SK Chemicals Supports Small and Medium Businesses in Adopting Eco-Friendly Plastics with Naver
[Asia Economy Reporter Oh Hyung-gil] SK Chemicals and Naver are supporting the adoption of eco-friendly plastic materials by small and medium-sized business operators, including those on Naver Smart Store.
On the 13th, the two companies held a business agreement ceremony at Naver 1784 located in Bundang-gu, Seongnam City, attended by Kim Hyun-seok, Head of SK Chemicals GC Business Division, and Lim Dong-ah, Naver's External/ESG Policy Lead.
The two companies will utilize SK Chemicals' 'Sustainable Packaging Solution' to discover and select business operators who wish to switch their products or containers to eco-friendly materials, providing support such as mold production and promotions through Naver Shopping for the selected partners.
This aims to contribute to minimizing waste generated during product distribution and consumption processes, and furthermore, to establish an ecosystem where eco-friendly plastic materials can circulate positively from production to recycling stages.
The Sustainable Packaging Solution consists of materials made from recycled raw materials and recyclable materials.
