Volkswagen·Audi Financial to Offer 'Powertrain Extended Warranty Service' Throughout October
Service Use Lease, Long-term Rental Car Customers Targeted
[Asia Economy Reporter Kiho Sung] Volkswagen Financial Services Korea announced on the 5th that it will provide a ‘Powertrain Extended Warranty Service’ for customers using Volkswagen Financial Services and Audi Financial Services’ operating lease and long-term rental car products throughout October.
The ‘Powertrain Extended Warranty Service’ offered by Volkswagen Financial Services Korea is separate from the basic 5-year/150,000 km extended warranty (excluding some vehicles such as special sales). It is a program that provides an extended warranty service for the powertrain for an additional 1 year after 5 years from the warranty start date or until the earlier of a final mileage of 180,000 km.

If the vehicle is maintained and managed according to the user manual for each vehicle, and regular inspections and maintenance are performed at official service centers designated by Volkswagen and Audi Korea, any malfunction occurring in the vehicle that is judged to be due to material or manufacturing defects of parts can be repaired or replaced. In case of vehicle damage, repairs must be carried out at official Volkswagen and Audi Korea service centers.
