Busan Gijang-gun, Recruiting Military Scholarship Students for the Second Half of the Year ... Total Scholarship Fund of 300 Million Won Provided
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Hwang Du-yeol] Busan Gijang-gun will accept applications for the selection of the ‘2022 Second Half Gijang-gun Scholarship Students’ from the 6th to November 2nd.
The scholarship will provide a total of 300 million KRW, with up to 2 million KRW per university student within the range of self-paid tuition fees based on academic excellence, welfare, multiple children, special talents, etc., and 500,000 KRW per elementary, middle, and high school student.
Eligibility requires that as of the recommendation date by the eup/myeon head, either the parent or the student themselves must have continuously resided in Gijang-gun for more than one year according to the resident registration.
Students wishing to apply for the scholarship should visit the administrative welfare center of their eup/myeon of residence to submit their application. After receiving applications, Gijang-gun will conduct evaluations and deliberations by the review committee in November and finalize the selection of scholarship students by December to provide the scholarships.
